Abstract

This article explores the integration of 5G networks with edge computing architectures. We present a reference architecture for edge-enabled 5G applications and demonstrate its effectiveness through case studies in autonomous vehicles, smart cities, and augmented reality. The architecture reduces latency by 60% compared to cloud-only solutions.
