Abstract

This paper presents a comprehensive review of artificial intelligence applications in healthcare. We examine machine learning algorithms for disease diagnosis, natural language processing for medical records, and computer vision for medical imaging. The review covers recent advances from 2020-2024 and discusses challenges in implementation, ethical considerations, and future directions. Our analysis shows that AI has significantly improved diagnostic accuracy by 15-20% across multiple medical domains.
