Abstract
This paper reviews carbon capture and storage (CCS) technologies and their role in climate change mitigation. We analyze direct air capture, bioenergy with CCS, and mineralization approaches. Economic analysis shows that CCS costs have decreased by 40% in the last decade, making it increasingly viable for large-scale deployment.
